Assistance League® of Southern California (ALSC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1919 that provides social services to 95,000 individuals with critical needs each year. With programs ranging from after-school care and early education to cultural enrichment for youth, family counseling, and senior support, ALSC needs to manage and refresh its brand to increase awareness and fundraising capacity in the Los Angeles community.
We conceived a sophisticated design with emotion appeal to donors and volunteers alike by shifting focus away from the organization as an impersonal institution and placing emphasis instead on the people ALSC serves every day. The ALSC campaign attracted renewed interest with direct mail, annual reports and fund cards, email marketing, social media, fundraising events, and more.
By establishing ALSC as a force in social media and online presence, we helped increase revenue over 18% while engaging a new younger generation of donors and volunteers.
